My name is Angela Rose Guess.

I’m a writer. That’s how I pay my bills. It’s also how I express myself. I rarely get paid for my self-expression, but hopefully that will change soon.

To date I’ve written four feature length screenplays, about a dozen shorts, done un-credited rewrites on an indie film, and am always working on new things. At least in theory.

I also have aspirations to write a novel and a collection of short stories. I start every morning by writing a mini-story in tweet format (you can find those to the left of this page or @angelasstories.)

I’m a democrat, a feminist, an athlete, a UCLA grad, a Phi Beta Kappa (that’s not a sorority, people – look it up), a Christian, a twenty-something, and an excellent baker. I’m trained as a bartender, though I’ve never worked as one, and I’ve played volleyball for most of my life.

I use this blog to share my adventures, develop new material, and amuse myself. Whatever your point of view, I hope you enjoy reading what I have to say.
